Nevada Home Inspector License Requirements
Requirements to Become a Nevada Home Inspector
- Nevada home inspection education hours: 40 hours
- Exam Required: NHIE
- Inspections: Observe at least 25 home inspections performed by a professional master inspector or approved instructor
- Application Fee: $350 (other fees may apply)
- Insurance Requirements: E&O insurance of at least $100,000 and liability insurance of at least $100,000
- Notarized application, background check, and fingerprinting are required
- Minimum age requirement: 18
- High School Diploma or GED required
Home Inspection License Expiration: Every two years
Nevada Home Inspector Continuing Education Requirements
- 20 hours every two years
